James Walmsley is a UK/Irish singer and guitarist whose unique voice and captivating stage presence turn a performance into an event. Whether solo or with The James Walmsley Trio, he blends originals, blues standards and rock and pop gems from the likes of Bowie, Prince, Fleetwood Mac and Tina Turner — creating moments of pin-drop focus, sing-along mayhem, and everything in between.
From 2008 to 2013 he toured the world as frontman for the award-winning Irish comedy band Dead Cat Bounce, playing some of the world’s biggest stages — from the Sydney Opera House to the Reading and Leeds festivals. Now based in Vilnius, he performs all around Europe and beyond.
Available as an intimate solo act or a full band, James is an effortless fit for corporate evenings, weddings and receptions where charisma and a great voice make the night.
