An English-speaking soul and blues voice based in Vilnius
James Walmsley is a UK/Irish singer-guitarist who lives in Vilnius, which makes him a natural, local-yet-international choice for events in the Lithuanian capital. He blends originals, blues standards and rock and pop gems from the likes of Bowie, Prince, Fleetwood Mac and Tina Turner, solo or with The James Walmsley Trio.
The suggested formats are a solo singer-guitarist or The James Walmsley Trio, with soul, blues and pop repertoire discussed for your event. Availability for this location depends on the event date, the selected artist, venue requirements and agreed travel arrangements. Languages for planning, announcements and songs are agreed with the selected artist before booking.
James Walmsley’s biography at Lisa Richards Agency records his work with Dead Cat Bounce from 2008 and a performance at the Sydney Opera House. Enquiries here concern his solo or trio music format; availability is checked for the requested date.
Vilnius venues, settings and occasions
Vilnius pairs a UNESCO-listed Baroque Old Town with five-star hotels, riverside event spaces and a compact diplomatic quarter, and James suits all of them. A solo singer-guitarist set is ideal for ceremonies, drinks receptions and after-dinner moments in historic Old Town halls and boutique hotels.
For corporate evenings, gala dinners and embassy receptions, the same charismatic voice scales up to a full band that fills the floor once the speeches are done. Whether the setting is a courtyard wedding in the cobbled centre or a brand celebration in the business district near Konstitucijos Avenue, the act flexes to the room.
Because James already lives in Vilnius, local bookings avoid long-distance travel, while his European touring background means destination events elsewhere are handled with the same ease.
