Shahab Tolouie Trio

EthnoFlamenco — where ancient Persian echoes meet the fire of Spain.

About

The Shahab Tolouie Trio weaves a sonic tapestry that transcends borders. Their signature style, “EthnoFlamenco,” is a living dialogue between the intense rhythms of Spain and the profound mysticism of Persian philosophy and poetry — a journey that begins on the shores of the Caspian Sea, winds through Persia, Arabia and North Africa, and finds its passionate heart on the Iberian Peninsula.

Central to their sound is the “Fusetar” — a completely unique triple-neck guitar celebrated by the BBC, Reuters and Acoustic Guitar Magazine. Having toured extensively across the EU, including Electric Castle and consistent representation in the NRW Kultursekretariat catalogue, the trio currently performs material from their latest album, Oxymoron, featured on both the Transglobal World Music Chart and World Music Charts Europe.

For gala dinners, embassy receptions and cultural events, the standard trio expands to a quintet with wind (flute/sax) and additional percussion — an arresting, internationally acclaimed centrepiece for the most discerning occasions.
