Live Music for Corporate Events in Switzerland: A Zurich & Geneva Guide
Switzerland's corporate calendar — banking galas in Zurich, diplomatic and organisation receptions in Geneva, art and pharma events in Basel — rewards music that is elegant, discreet and impeccably coordinated. Here is how to choose it.
Match the act to the moment
A refined jazz trio is the safest, most elegant choice for a drinks reception or seated dinner; a soulful singer or full band suits the main entertainment slot and dancing. For an international audience, an English-speaking act removes any language friction.
Swiss events value restraint: agree volume, set length and breaks (around speeches) in advance.
Plan for logistics and timing
Zurich and Basel events run in German (and English); Geneva in French and English. Choose acts at ease in front of an international audience, and a partner who handles every detail. Build in travel and a clear technical rider — Swiss venues expect precision.
Budget and booking
Fees depend on line-up, date, location and production and are quoted on request. Enquire once your date is known, leaving time to coordinate travel and the venue’s technical requirements. We check each artist’s availability before preparing a proposal.
Questions
How much does a live band for a corporate event in Switzerland cost?+
Fees depend on the date, venue, line-up and production. Share your event details so we can check availability and prepare a proposal specifying the performance, travel and technical costs.
What live music suits a Zurich corporate gala?+
A refined jazz trio for the reception and dinner, then a full band or charismatic singer for the entertainment and dancing. English-speaking acts suit international audiences.
Can you provide music for events in Geneva and Basel too?+
You can enquire about music for Zurich, Geneva or Basel. Include your date, venue and programme so we can check the artist’s availability, travel and production requirements for that location.
How early should we book?+
Enquire once you have a date and venue, leaving time to agree the programme and travel. Availability is checked for each artist and date. An enquiry alone does not reserve a date; confirmation and terms are agreed in writing.
