Vaiva Dunaitytė is a composer and performer who has spent more than thirteen years mastering the kanklės, the Lithuanian zither. A student of music performance at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and a laureate of numerous competitions, she boldly expands the boundaries of the instrument.
Her work blends the kanklės with jazz, classical, rock, electronic and folklore, creating a distinctive, contemporary sound that is unmistakably Baltic. It is a rare and memorable choice for cultural events, receptions and ceremonies seeking something truly unique.
